On Sunday, February 3, 2018, there will be an important event at the Azienda Agricola Quaranta in Marano di Napoli.
In the estate of Aniello and his sister Angelina, you can follow a guided tour with tasting inside the family vineyards.
Aniello and Angelina manage the company inherited by her parents and, even before, by her grandparents. The terraces of the estate are located on the South east side of the hill of Camaldoli, on the slopes of the Monte Prospectus in Naples. This is the highest relief of the City and the vineyards are all cultivated in Falanghina and Piedirosso.
The Quaranta family cultivates the vine and produces wine for three generations. Today Angelina and suited continue with passion and commitment the journey undertaken by his parents, in a territory of viticulture and characterized by terraces (from a few meters above sea level you reach about 400-450 M.A.S.L.), built in the past with the only help of human labor.
The particular microclimate, the tufaceous composition of the soil and the Happy exposition, give the fruits of this earth a unique expression. The ten hectares of the company are cultivated with specialized vineyard, with the varieties Falanghina and Piedirosso. The entire production of wines is a denomination of origin controlled Campi Flegrei.
The cost of the guided tour and tasting is only €5. The reservation is obligatory.
